Nice call!
I assume you mean that progress has stalled after the Bellis-p? (I'd
wait to make sure of that.)

I wonder if there might be indications in her case pointing to one of
the other remedies in the larger rubric?

Generalities; WOUNDS; EXPULSIONS of fishbones, splinters, needles,
foreign bodies, to promote (INJURIES, BLOWS, FALLS AND BRUISES;
SPLINTERS)(p, 14, 0) (14) : acon., anac., anag., ARN., calc-f.,
Calen., CARB-V., CIC., HEP., Lach., Lob., NIT-AC., SIL., Sulph.

trained with, so best to just go with what you've got and see what the
higher potency silica will do; perhaps that's all she needs.

Best wishes,

Posted on the Lists.homeolist.com mailing list. Go to http://lists.homeolist.com/mailman/listinfo/homeopathy to subscribe. Hi Sridhar,

I should try Silicea C 30 again.

The action may not have stopped but the hardness of the skin araound may
have prevented final expulsion. For this reason the pain - the splinter
pressing from the inside: a cause of pain by itself and also causing
permanent inflammation.

Now that the skin is soft, Sil may be able to finish the job.

Regards

Luise

significant, with silica a leader, but not the only. Expulsion can
also take place from a well-chosen chronic / "constitutional" remedy,
and sometimes silica is not sufficiently similar to do the job--at
least so my experience has been.

Nice call!
I assume you mean that progress has stalled after the Bellis-p? (I'd
wait to make sure of that.)

I wonder if there might be indications in her case pointing to one of
the other remedies in the larger rubric?

Generalities; WOUNDS; EXPULSIONS of fishbones, splinters, needles,
foreign bodies, to promote (INJURIES, BLOWS, FALLS AND BRUISES;
SPLINTERS)(p, 14, 0) (14) : acon., anac., anag., ARN., calc-f.,
Calen., CARB-V., CIC., HEP., Lach., Lob., NIT-AC., SIL., Sulph.

on other indications in the case, or only on the indication of having
a splinter to expel?

If silica is the indicated remedy the potency actions are as follows:
potencies as 6CH are acting to expel foreign objects like pieces of
glass. Close to the event it is easier because the body develops an
inflammatory
reaction pus etc.and this makes the expulsion easier, later on the
inflammatory reaction is reduced. In contrast, high potencies as 1M ,10M
facilitate reabsorbtion as in a dental abscess or an internal ear
infection

significant, with silica a leader, but not the only. Expulsion can
also take place from a well-chosen chronic / "constitutional" remedy,
and sometimes silica is not sufficiently similar to do the job--at
least so my experience has been.

In contrast, high potencies as 1M ,10M
facilitate reabsorbtion as in a dental abscess or an internal ear
infection

Patient was taking Silicea 30 but after sometime it stopped progress.
When i took up the case the indication of pain made me think of Bellis. It helped reduce the pain and the skin has become tender.
In my view it is a good progress and patient is happy.

Should I continue with bellis or wait and watch or get on to Silicea in a higher potency to finish it.

Nice call!
I assume you mean that progress has stalled after the Bellis-p? (I'd
wait to make sure of that.)

I wonder if there might be indications in her case pointing to one of
the other remedies in the larger rubric?

Generalities; WOUNDS; EXPULSIONS of fishbones, splinters, needles,
foreign bodies, to promote (INJURIES, BLOWS, FALLS AND BRUISES;
SPLINTERS)(p, 14, 0) (14) : acon., anac., anag., ARN., calc-f.,

on other indications in the case, or only on the indication of having
a splinter to expel?

trained with, so best to just go with what you've got and see what the
higher potency silica will do; perhaps that's all she needs.

Best wishes,

If silica is the indicated remedy the potency actions are as follows:
potencies as 6CH are acting to expel foreign objects like pieces of
glass. Close to the event it is easier because the body develops an
inflammatory
reaction pus etc.and this makes the expulsion easier, later on the
inflammatory reaction is reduced. In contrast, high potencies as 1M ,10M
facilitate reabsorbtion as in a dental abscess or an internal ear
infection

Nice call!
I assume you mean that progress has stalled after the Bellis-p? (I'd
wait to make sure of that.)

I wonder if there might be indications in her case pointing to one of
the other remedies in the larger rubric?

Generalities; WOUNDS; EXPULSIONS of fishbones, splinters, needles,
foreign bodies, to promote (INJURIES, BLOWS, FALLS AND BRUISES;
SPLINTERS)(p, 14, 0) (14) : acon., anac., anag., ARN., calc-f.,
Calen., CARB-V., CIC., HEP., Lach., Lob., NIT-AC., SIL., Sulph.

on other indications in the case, or only on the indication of having
a splinter to expel?

significant, with silica a leader, but not the only. Expulsion can
also take place from a well-chosen chronic / "constitutional" remedy,
and sometimes silica is not sufficiently similar to do the job--at
least so my experience has been.

In contrast, high potencies as 1M ,10M
facilitate reabsorbtion as in a dental abscess or an internal ear

But you could try the 200c and see; I'm interested to hear how it goes.

Do you have information about her mental state (temperament, loves /
hates / sensitivities, "delusions"/beliefs, etc.) and generals, or any
other health issues she has had during this time? It would be
interesting to see whether those might offer any support for *either*
silica or one of these others--or any other remedy?

like glass splinters from the body is that the 6x potency taken twice
daily is by far more effective than the 200c referred to on this thread.

Patient was taking Silicea 30 but after sometime it stopped progress.
When i took up the case the indication of pain made me think of Bellis. It helped reduce the pain and the skin has become tender.
In my view it is a good progress and patient is happy.

Should I continue with bellis or wait and watch or get on to Silicea in a higher potency to finish it.

Nice call!
I assume you mean that progress has stalled after the Bellis-p? (I'd
wait to make sure of that.)

I wonder if there might be indications in her case pointing to one of
the other remedies in the larger rubric?

on other indications in the case, or only on the indication of having
a splinter to expel?

trained with, so best to just go with what you've got and see what the
higher potency silica will do; perhaps that's all she needs.

Patient was taking Silicea 30 but after sometime it stopped progress.
When i took up the case the indication of pain made me think of Bellis. It helped reduce the pain and the skin has become tender.
In my view it is a good progress and patient is happy.

Should I continue with bellis or wait and watch or get on to Silicea in a higher potency to finish it.

like glass splinters from the body is that the 6x potency taken twice
daily is by far more effective than the 200c referred to on this thread.

A patient of mine has a glass piece still embedded in her finger after the
surgery.

She was taking Silicea 30 for over a year. There is a protrusion on the finger
which is hard. Pain unbearable and the finger cannot be used.

I gave her Bellis Perennis 200. Now, the skin has become tender and the pain
is 80% gone. Should I wait for some more time before the glass piece pops out.

I was planning to switch her on Silicea 200 after another week of observation.

Any recommendations?

Kotti

Nice call!
I assume you mean that progress has stalled after the Bellis-p? (I'd
wait to make sure of that.)

I wonder if there might be indications in her case pointing to one of
the other remedies in the larger rubric?

on other indications in the case, or only on the indication of having
a splinter to expel?

trained with, so best to just go with what you've got and see what the
higher potency silica will do; perhaps that's all she needs.

significant, with silica a leader, but not the only. Expulsion can
also take place from a well-chosen chronic / "constitutional" remedy,
and sometimes silica is not sufficiently similar to do the job--at
least so my experience has been.

In contrast, high potencies as 1M ,10M
facilitate reabsorbtion as in a dental abscess or an internal ear
infection

Should I continue with bellis or wait and watch or get on to Silicea in a higher potency to finish it.

Regards
Kotti
