The second paragraph of the ServerFlags section talks about options in
ServerLayout overriding options in ServerFlags.

Depends on the video card, but I suspect the default is usually right.

The manpage said it was the default, and the xorg log shows it's on. But
I can add that bad just to be sure.

Then you should also be able to check what the log tells about AIGLX, dri/drm, etc...

I don't have that handy right now, but I recall that everything was fine
last time I checked.

Oddly enough, my Xorg.0.log looked the same thing with and without.
But without, a buildworld in an xterm was showing Xorg taking 20% of CPU
and noticeably slowing the machine, which it usually does not. I'm
guessing this was antialiasing characters, but it may have just been
the scrolling.

Uncommenting Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" restored it to its old faster
self.

That looks good and an r500 card shouldn't need any special treatment.
It should just work with either version of libdrm and mesa.

It does just work. But KDE still doesn't recognize compositing. Yeah, I
know it's a KDE problem and not X11, but it's still frustrating. I know
if I log a bug with KDE they'll just close it saying it's a X11 problem.
(They have done this before to me).
