My desert willow has buds, but they are not blooming and turn black and
fall off....I live in Oklahoma City and we have had some big hail storms in
the last couple of years which has probably left my big Red Oak tree in the
front yard vulnerable to pests and fungus....we have had an arborist
treating the Red Oak, but he recently noticed what he thinks could be
Hypoxylon Canker fungus affecting the Red Oak....it will probably have to
be cut down....Do you think this could be affecting the desert willow too?
The desert willow is in the front yard near the Red Oak and looks healthy
with buds, but just will not bloom....it bloomed fine last year....

Thank you for your response in advance.
