Being forced to BUY health insurance seems not to be a beloved thing  
BUT having the own children in the own health insurance is pretty good ...

What is NOT solved by past and present approaches, is the fact that ONLY I MYSELF can say if I am healthy or sick: readiness to play the patient role is essential for any illness 
-- medical doctors only can support healing but never "make me healthy again" -- 
and on the other hand, it builds just a system of lies to be forced to a medical certificate of "being sick". 

i.e. only a health system where income is secured during and after illness(es) will be agreed by a solid majority (of employees) while management & entrepreneurs "need healthy workers on the payroll" ... 

Maybe only an income (basis) portion NOT linked to "work" will be able to solve that problem. 
But this is certainly no MittRomney approach, and it seems not to be an Obama aproach either.

Even Europe has already "Zero Growth" among States: not yet burning in the USA (because the total of 50 States cheats & covers actual regional situations), several Countries of the world had to accept "negative growth" of their GDP/PIB/BIP during the past decades. "Growth" is no sustainable option any more. 

Maybe it will be necessary to give up growth as a political target entirely: Living together needs not necessarily growth (just things for BigWhigs become easier by growth) and the more "hard"working" we are, for more growth, the more and the quicker Earth's Resources are devastated. 
(Earth needs 1,5 years to restore what Human Beings "use" and ruin in 1 year; this feature will soon be 200%) 

It is unfriendly to speak about Merkel & Hollande as MERkollanDE but what is this "Growth" package really for ??? 
Contents of this "package" are only known (and planned) financial & economic "targets" 
-- most of them having been in the critics heavily, already before the "package" -- 
and they probably will not resolve any of those problems "we" have for a decade now: 

called "Crisis" (of immo, of banks, of currency etc.etc.) the real problem is that 

1. conventional economic instruments are built for "normal" growth of approx. 10% / year 
(as it was normal 1945 to 1985 but as it disappeared during the 1990ies) 
2. nobody reacted on the RELATIVE deflation (when inflation was sinking from 10% to almost zero) then 
3. BIS/BIZ/BRI (Bank for International Settlements, Bank für Internationalen Zahlungsausgleich, Banque des règlements internationaux) as well as Fed, European Central Bank, IMF/IWF/FMI and World Bank never had nor searched for adequate instruments 
4. south european neo-colonialisation by the european North did the rest. Voilà. 

And now a Growth Package by Merkollande which will just turn liquidity of populations down while assuring PolitBigWhigs' daily money (by flowing here and there and back and cheating numbers into the "good" range)

What happens is a harsher-than-ever Colonialization & Verticalization attempt over (at least) the EU/UE by "those Politicians" while most of populations just dont react (yet). Not really a good outlook.
And it is not even a Socialism issue, it will make Civil Wars more likely, despite all Sniffing & "Anti"Terror" Legislation and all violations of Human Rights in whatever political environment
