Had a lady who had UTI sxs and took 3 leftover antibiotics. She was sx free when I saw her. I explained since she took the antibiotics I could not do a c/s. She said "I thought you could just look at the dead bugs and tell what was infecting me!"

My story is not a patient encounter. However,I have a cute story about my niece. My adorable niece became ill with a garden variety URI. She told her mom (my sister) that she got it from eating candy and that she knew this because Jason (a little boy in her daycare) told her that (apparently this was Jason's dad's strategy to get him to eat less candy). My sister disputed it and my niece was quite insistent that this must be true. My sister asked her, 'Should we call Aunt Sue?'. My niece responded with, 'Aunt Sue isn't that smart.'

My daughter told me last semester when she was 6 that she could not go to school the next day. When I asked her if she was sick and why she couldn't go to school, she told me
"cause my heart beats while I am asleep." I told her that if it stopped doing that, then we have a problem:)

OK, my favorite is the little girl who went with her dad to the barber. She
was sitting close by in a barber chair eating a Hostess treat. The barber
said, "Careful honey, you might get hair on your Twinkie"
And she replies, "Yeah, and my mom says I'll get **** like hers someday

Had a lady who had UTI sxs and took 3 leftover antibiotics. She was sx free when I saw her. I explained since she took the antibiotics I could not do a c/s. She said "I thought you could just look at the dead bugs and tell what was infecting me!"

My story is not a patient encounter. However,I have a cute story about my niece. My adorable niece became ill with a garden variety URI. She told her mom (my sister) that she got it from eating candy and that she knew this because Jason (a little boy in her daycare) told her that (apparently this was Jason's dad's strategy to get him to eat less candy). My sister disputed it and my niece was quite insistent that this must be true. My sister asked her, 'Should we call Aunt Sue?'. My niece responded with, 'Aunt Sue isn't that smart.'

I gave a guy a fungal cream for a groin rash.

When he went to the pharmacy the box the cream came in had a picture of a large foot on it.

He came running back. Saying this cream ain't for my foot! Whats going on here!
