High Wind Damage:
One of my verticals sustained damage due to these high winds. I'll have to
assess the extent when things calm down.
Here is the latest WX Report:
*Now*
*High Wind Warning remains in effect... West to southwest winds of 25 to 40
mph with even stronger gusts to 60 mph will continue to buffet the Front
Range urban corridor and the adjacent High Plains through 6 PM especially
east of I-25. The strong winds winds may create quite a bit of blowing dust
and sand possibly reducing visibilities to near zero at times. Tree and
branch damage are likely...as well as intermittent power interruptions.
Light weight and high profile vehicles are especially susceptible to sudden
and possibly violent cross winds. *

Antennas (Dipoles) are okay, but was worried about the supporting mast a
couple of times. Winds were definitely in the 50šs and plus here. So bad
that the track almost shut down on Saturday and we ended up running 1/8th
mile instead of 1/4 mile at Bandimere! Hope the fixes happen quickly
everyone. Sorry to hear about the damages.
