Seasons Greetings Everyone:
*Please see below the first notification of the LCWMPA Neighborhood
Association General Membership meeting.* As most of you know Taos County
Commissioners have approved the release of the proposed Land Use
Code(LUC) which contains our neighborhood association overlay zoning.
You will be receiving a letter from Taos County Planning Department
regarding a series of meetings that you can attend to learn more about
the proposed LUC. The document is available for review on the Taos
County website; at the Planning Department; library etc.
*I strongly encourage each of you to review the LCWMPA overlay and the
Neighborhood Association section of the document.
*
The LCWMPA Board of Directors and a number of other individuals have
been working very hard to see that the vision, intention and land use
plans for our neighborhood association remain intact when it goes before
the Commissioners for approval on January 26th.
On *January 10th* you will again have an opportunity to offer input and
ask questions at our General meeting. Please mark your calendars now and
plan to attend. (this notification will be aired on the radio, printed
for three weeks in the Taos News, and flyers will be placed around town.
