CORNELL WINE COMPANY
HM WINE DISTRIBUTING
TASTING RESULTS

Although we had a small turn-out, nearly everyone who came bought wine, which, of course, was the objective of the tasting!

The big hit was the MASSI FILLI 2009 BARBERA, COLLI TORTONESE, PIEMONTE at $14.00 We sold-out and took orders. We have more arriving today or tomorrow.

Second best seller was the ZELLERBACH 2009 SAUVIGNON BLANC from CALIFORNIA at $10.00 To me, this just tastes like a NZ wine from MARLBOROUGH. Stunning value! We have some in stock.

One bottle behind in sales was the ALICE ROSÉ BRUT from the PROSECCO region of Italy. It seems expensive at $20.00, but people loved it. We have some in stock.

The disappointment in terms of sales was the VITAE SPRINGS 2008 PINOT NOIR – maybe because at $25.00 it was the most expensive wine in the tasting. Because of peoples’ reaction we did not bring any into the shop, but could special order it.

Cheers,

Mick
