The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors what form they would prefer a hypothetical new Pet Shop Boys
singles remix collection to take. And the choice that received the largest
number of votes was:

* "Brand new remixes commissioned by the Boys of past hits by 'hot'
contemporary remixes," chosen by 38.1% of the voters.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the left navigation bar.

My new poll for the week ahead is a real rarity for me: a question with a
simple Yes or No answer. Then again, maybe it's not so simple. I'm wondering
whether you appreciate the work of "Tennant-Lowe" (the "professional ID"
that Neil and Chris use to refer to themselves for their more
"non-pop-oriented" releases, such as "Battleship Potemkin" and "The Most
Incredible Thing") as much as you appreciate the work of "Pet Shop Boys."
(I'll leave it up to you to determine for yourself what "appreciate" means
and its criteria.) So please mull this over and make your Yes/No choice
right there on my home page. And thanks so much to Aloysius Fairbanks for
suggesting this question (quite some time ago, as it turns out).

And thanks as well to everyone who voted in last week's survey. I hope you
all have a safe and happy weekend.

Wayne
