Hello,
Thanks to those who responded that you're interested in participating on an IGF team this summer. Since the structure of the team(s) this summer will be considerably different in approach from the past two years, I thought it best to find a more fitting name. This summer it will be called the DePaul Game Co-op, to better reflect the cooperative nature of the process we're taking. Our first organizational meeting will take place:
Friday, June 3rd
2pm
Room 708
See you then,
Scott

Hello,
Thanks to everyone who showed up for the IGFSS info session last week. For those who weren't able to attend here's a recap:
* My DGE advising partner, Patrick Curry, unexpectedly found out that he was moving last month, so we've had to revise our plans for this year.
* The solution we've come up with is to organize several teams rather than one. We will provide guidance and an organizational structure for the teams, as well as the opportunity to work in the labs throughout the summer. Patrick will also be setting up a wiki for the teams to use for communication and advising.
* Along with help from DGE alumni and guests, I will help the teams go through the Creative Bootcamp process that has been successful the past 2 years. Patrick gave a lecture about the process, along with his patented "shark fin" theory.
I'd like to hold another organizational meeting in about a week for everyone who's interested in participating. It would help if I could get an idea of how many are interested, and who you are. So if you're interested please reply to me (not the list) with your full name and what area you'd like to work in (programming, game design, art, producing or audio).
