Are you planning on submitting your animated films for the Digital Cinema Premiere? It's not just for live action--several animated films usually make the cut. The instructions are below, and the deadline is Monday.

Hey everyone,
Reminding you that the Premiere Deadline is Monday 5.23 by 6pm at the Cage.
Below are the full entry instructions:
Digital Cinema Premiere 6 Entry Instructions: Deadline Monday May 23rd by 6:00PM at the Cage
A. You must complete a separate entry package for each film submitted.
B. You must submit a password protected link to the uploaded movie on Vimeo and one DVD-ROM with a max quality NTSC DV 48khz, HDV or HD Quicktime of your film. Also, please submit a still frame thumbnail from the movie in jpeg format. Instead of a DVD-ROM, you may submit a flash drive with your QT on it. This is preferred. Label your flash drive and it will be returned to you.
C. All films must be 16x9 aspect ratio (not squeezed). For DV 25 projects this means "pillarbox", not squeezed (anamorphic). For HDV and HD projects this means native 16x9.
D. All submissions must use AppleProRes HQ compression.
E. Write your synopsis carefully and thoughtfully as this may appear in the festival program if your film is selected for screening. 40 words maximum.
F. All DVDs must be clearly labeled with a Sharpie pen - name, title, length and that it is a DVD-ROM.
G. Films selected for the DC Premiere 6 Film Festival will be announced at the Music Box Theater on Friday June 3rd at 7:30 PM.

Hello Everyone,
As you know, the deadline for entries for Premiere is this Monday, May 23 at 6pm.
However, we would like to note that this can be just a judging copy (Vimeo link plus password); this is what we will use to select entries. If you are still making last minute changes, the final version which we will use to screen from if you are selected is due to the Cage no later than Friday, May 27 at 4pm.
Don't forget to pick up your tickets at the Cage for you and your guests!
