On April 8th & 9th, local individuals and guests experts from Hamburg,
Germany will gather for a */Learning Laboratory/* as part of the Five
Colleges Inc. /Riverscaping/ project. The */Learning Laboratory/* is a
two-day exchange of issues, ideas and projects on art, community and the
environment along the Connecticut River. The topic of the river creates
a diverse and interdisciplinary conversation on issues ranging from
science to art, from economics to technology.

These talks and discussions are open to the public, faculty and students
and we encourage anyone studying or working in these areas to join us
for our upcoming event. Please encourage students whose work addresses
issues related to */art, environment or community engagement /*to
inquire and learn more about this event and the broader riverscaping
project. You can find out more at www.riverscaping.org

Would you kindly share with the coalescing groups -

Planned for June 25, 2011.

We'd love to see a site-specific performance about water issues blossom in the Connecticut River valley area. It will depend on some folks who are in the area in June. Some may want to do preview for EarthDay in April.
Warmly,

Martha
