This is the first Java position I have seen posted that I actually have too
much experience to apply for. LOL!
But seriously, except for the fact that it is for very junior level
developers, where did you read "we don't want to pay you anything"? There
was a time not so many years ago that I would have jumped on something like
this. If there aren't any entry-level positions for aspiring software
developers, how are we ever going to get the next generation of experienced
developers? I say "kudos to Patrick and Infogroup Northwest" and would
suggest they contact the Computer Science Department at PSU. They used to
post openings in their office and probably still do.

My understanding of the original email is that course work or a college
project could count towards the Java/Linux experience requirement (as
opposed to only considering real-world work experience).
